The annual CSR action plans are continuously evaluated to ensure that we meet stakeholder expectations. The main focus areas of the Action plans are:

• Governance and business ethics
• Communication and transparency
• Safety, health and the environment
• Community involvement, partnerships and international collaboration.

HITS & The Community

In line with our approach to CSR and the triple bottom line, HITS is part of the Hare Voluntary Service Group. In this our staff are freely giving time to support community projects, which include:

• Undertaking maintainace work at charitable institutions
• Beach cleaning projects
• Guest lectures at technical colleges

Our web developers have also donated time to develop web sites for charitable causes, most notably Kakkum Karangal.

We encourage such activities not only for the good they do to society, but for the contribution they make to the personal development of our staff members.
